Advertising for Home Daycare?

by Wade Morris Dunwoody Realtor on April 5th, 2011

I am trying to do as much advertising as I can to start my home daycare. Is it legal to put signs outside of subdivision? I wasn’t sure but I do see signs for garage sales all the time. I just wanted to make sure.

Some have signs in the yard or on the building at the daycare. If you are accepting infants try the local birthing classes or advertise in the maternity ward. Some new mothers might have older tots and want them in the same daycare. Try the local school for before and after school kids.

The best place is craigslist.org. You will get a lot more hits and don’t just count on people driving by and it’s free.

We have found all of our daycare providors from there.
