Briarcliff are you kidding? The Fernbank wine and cheese crowd lives there. City taxes are high.

I moved to Atlanta from Chicago 30 years ago and I haven’t found a place here yet that isn’t snobby.

OK, you are on the right track with Northlake, Tucker and Chamblee, but they are all in Dekalb County and do not expect the police or an ambulance to come when you need them.

Dekalb is the most corrupt county in Atlanta thanks to Vernon Jones.

I’ve lived in LA, NYC, Chicago, Brussels, and Atlanta is one of the absolute worst places on the planet to live.

Traffic worse than LA, the worst food and restaurants for a major city; air pollution equal to Beijing

Before you tell me to move. I am, but my parents are aging and ailing and I am here for them, not Atlanta.

How about Norcorss, Duluth, Swanee? I dont think any of these areas has any snobbishness to it. I live in Suwanee and find it to have very reasonable housing prices. Its a bit far from the city, but I like the quality of life here.

I live in Vinings/Smyrna area and I don’t feel its snobby, maybe you should check that out. Marietta isn’t snobby in all areas. I have relatives that live in North Marietta, near the Cherokee County border and they live in a safe, older neighborhood, all their neighbors are friendly and not snobby. Maybe you could check out Woodstock too.
