In earlier times, before the invention of home phones, there were only limited ways using which one person could communicate with the other. The options include writing letters sending a person with information to be transferred etc. but these ways were much difficult and couldn’t be used on a regular basis. So to remove all difficulties and to provide a convenient way of communication home phones were invented. Using them, two persons can communicate with each other even if they are far apart geographically.
Home phones are the basic need of every person today. They are still used widely in large numbers both in homes and offices. They are also packed with many features like caller ID, Display Screen, SMS service, speaker and so on. Some advanced features like 3G and video conferencing are also possible now in home phones.
In old days, home phones were too bulky and big in size. But now, with the advancement in technology and to be in the competition, home phone manufacturers provide a wide range of attractive and portable phones which are equipped with all latest features. Today, homes phones come in many designs and colors. These phones are also much cheaper than other communication devices. The installation of these phones is also very easy and the charge for installing is also low. All these things and fact make home phone choice of millions.

We can easily buy a home phone from any physical show rooms of different companies. Also these phones are easily available on Internet. So we can also buy them online.
