MD’s who specialize in PCOS/Insulin Resistance in Atlanta?

by Wade Morris Dunwoody Realtor on April 5th, 2007

I am looking for an MD or MD Group who specialize in treating PCOS/Insulin Resistance/Metabolic Disorders in the North Atlanta area (Dunwoody/Sandy Springs/Norcross/Peachtre… Corners – any of these would be convenient to work or home for me – but I am not opposed to going to a less convenient area if anyone knows of an extremely good MD who treats PCOS/IR/MetDisorders aggressively and successfully).

Any recommendations would be appreciated. A name, clinic name and or phone number would be awesome.

I have excellent insurance (as excellent as can be expected for today’s insurance policy’s anyway) – I can choose almost any doctor for anything without a referral.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can steer me in a good direction!
Thanks rkp! No, I hadn’t tried Emory, but I will definitely use the link you provided and see what I can find. Thanks again!

I don’t know, but have you thought about checking with Emory Healthcare Clinic? Due to Emory being a teaching hospital they have some of the best physicians (my opinion only).

You can search by Physician Specialty or Physician Area of Clinical Interest at:

    http://www.emoryhealthcare.org/find_physician/find_physician.jsp

This will pull up lists of physicians for the specialty or interests. You can click on each physician to see more information about them.

Hope this helps. I have been pleased with their care.
