I have not heard that people believe that buying a foreclosure is bad luck, but I am sure that there are those that could have that impression. A foreclsoure typically happens when something happens to the finances like an illness, divorce, or loss of employment. In GA, foreclosures are non-judicial which allow banks to foreclose quickly.
