A district manager is an arbitrary title. It can mean that he runs a particular city, county or state. Of course he can always hire help from anywhere in the country he wants. The district manager appellation can also apply to a division of the company or a subdivision of the company. If you are familiar with the company and have the company's name just ask for a copy of the company's stock presentation and their annual or quarterly report. It will show you the break down of the company and usually lists the company's upper level personnel and company goals.
Or you could just ask the guy!
